1. Do you believe that videos can lead to innovation in the classroom? Explain your answer. I do believe that videos can lead to innovation in the classroom. Students are able to experience real people and real problems, challenges or accomplishments. Videos will help motivate students to research more, change ideas, and most importantly show the world their own "innovative" ideas. Humans by nature strive on positive reinforcement, web notoriety will be the rewarding element to facilitate motivation. The power to view others and learn from each other is explosive. Videos are a major component of project based learning and will drive 21st century learning.
2. How does Prezi, the tool that Chris Anderson uses in the video, differ from traditional presentation tools for the classroom? Prezi is different than viewing a video because Prezi allows collaborationin real time. It becomes more than just a video. It incorporates many technology tools and encourages change, community learning, revision and innovation.

Frame: Provide a context that helps students pay attention to the main content of the video. Ask students questions about the topic explored in the video to activate prior knowledge. When necessary, tell your students enough about the part of the story preceding the segment, so they can follow along.
Focus: Help students notice the important moments in the video by providing them with a specific focus, something to look for while they watch. Without a focus for viewing, students see all sorts of interesting details - but not necessarily the idea or information you want them to focus on.
Follow-up: Provide an opportunity for students to summarize what they saw - because they will see different things, and not always what you expected them to see! Re-telling what they saw helps students consolidate their understanding and remember it.
Prezi is an awesome tool for students and teachers to present information in an interactive manner. I found the program a bit confusing and would have to spent more time navigating all it has to offer. I saved google images as jpeg files then tried to upload to the prezi but had no luck using these images within the prezi. I could only use the pre-licensed images. I spent a lot of time creating a "simple" presentation on classroom rules. However, once it was put together I was pleased with the results and feel that the video and presentation will have a positive impact and help my students understand what my expectations are for the school year. Overall, I think prezi has a lot to offer and would need more time to become proficient ;)
